Overview

We can use kali nethunter in both rooted and un-rooted devices. In Rooted device we can install Kali Nethunter with the help of Custom recovery and in Un-Rooted device we can install from third party app. Kali Nethunter is known as pentration testing device. As it is easy to work. If you want to take proper use of Kali Nethunter then your mobile should be root and it should have bulid kernel. On installing Kali Nethunter with the help of custom recovery, we get some peri-install apps like Nethunter, Nethunter Terminal, Nethunter Store, Nethunter Kex

Nethunter app

Nethunter app gives us a graphic interface. With which Kali can use Nethunter's tools graphically.

Nethunter Terminal app

Nethunter Terminal app gives us command line interface (cmd). By using which we can use terminaly Kali Nethunter ko control or tools kal.

Nethunter Store app 

Nethunter Store app connects us to Kali Nethunter's apps store. With which we can download the apps of Kali Nethunter's tools and use it.

Nethunter Kex app 

 Nethunter Kex app helps us to do screen mirroring. By using S, we can take the experience of Kali Linux desktop.

Installing Nethunter

You must have downloaded Kali Nethunter from the official site. Now it is the turn to install Kali Nethunter on the device. For S, there should be some modification in your mobile such as.

1. Update Your Device
2. Bootloader Unlock
3. Install Custom Recovery
4. Install magisk

Update Your Device:

This means whether the software is updated in your mobile or not.

Bootloader Unlock:

Bootloader is a set of programs. This program tells the bootloader how to load operating systems and when to execute them in memory. Which we can install Custom Recovery.

Install Custom Recovery:

Custom Recovery mode is a feature of android device, from which the user can fix the problem of mobiles or tables with the help of custom recovery mode. Recovery mode gives us special boot permission from which we can install Kali Nethunter.

Magisk:

You are probably heard the term “Magisk” being thrown around. It's a relatively new tool for customizing Android devices. With this you can root your mobile.

Note⇒Before installing Kali Nethunter, you should take a backup of your mobile. With which your data is saved as a backup.Your mobile should be charged more than 50%. Otherwise the device will be switched off while installing Kali Nethunter.

How to Install Kali Nethunter.

We can install Kali Nethunter with two methods, if you have made all the modifications, then it comes to the next step as we call installation.  

• 1st Method: Flashing 
• 2nd Method: Third-party apps

Flash or Flashing:

Flashing is a technical term. Which tells us what we are updating in our system.

Steps to install Kali Nethunter

1.  Mobile has to be brought in custom recovery mode. Press the power off bottom and volume up(+) of the mobile together to enter the custom recovery mode. From which your mobile will come in custom recovery mode.

2.  Now you have to search the zip file of your Kali Nethunter in Custom Recovery. Where you have downloaded and kept it. After searching, install Kali Nethunter. Kali Nethunter may take 20 minutes or more to install. It depends on the performance of your mobile. How quickly your mobile extract the zip file of Kali Nethunter and excuite it in your mobile.

3.  After installing Kali Nethunter, power on the mobile. On powering the mobile on, the Kali Nethunter logo will appear. After the completion of the mobile, the pre-installed apps of Kali Nethunter will be shown in the screen of the mobile. Such as Nethunter, Nethunter Terminal, Nethunter Store, Nethunter Kex.

Post Installation Setup

What is the meaning of Post Installation. Setup to do after installing Kali Nethunter.

Step to installation of Kali Nethunter

1.   Open Kali Nethunter ke Nethunter app. After that open Kali Chroot Manager. After opening Kali Chroot Manager, start Start Kali Chroot.

2.  Install Hacker Keyboard from Nethunter Store and Playstore. Hacker keyboard is a very good keyboard for typing in Nethunter Terminal.

3.  Install OpenVpn for android app from Nethunter Store and Playstore. The OpenVpn app helps us in port forwarding and establishing a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

4.  Configur kali Nethunter service

Before using Kali Nethunter, what are the features of its pre-installed apps and what is the use of it. Kali Nethunter's pre-installed apps.

Nethunter

Home

Opening the Nethunter app will show the home features of the Nethunter app. It shows system information, such as Kernel Version, Busybox Version, Root Status, Nethunter Terminal Status, Nethunter Interface Status, External IP

Kernel version:

It tells which kernel of linux is installed in mobile. Linux kernel is written in C language. Which connects to the hardware of android mobile and system software of android mobile. For example:-

Busybox:

Busybox is an application. Many applications require root, then busybox interacts with the operating systems (OS) of the Android device.

Root Status:

Root status tells that from which version of mobile I have root installed.

HID Status:

HID (Human Interface Device) Status tells that the HID of the mobile is not connected to the Hardware Kali Nethunter.  If your HID status is showing HID interface not found then it means that your linux kernel is not properly interconnected with Kali Nethunter image.  There is no need to panic, there is a solution to this too. Nethunter Terminal Status:

I give information about whether Nethunter Terminal is installed or not.

Network Interface Status:

Gives information about the network of Android system such as IPV4 and IPV6 and local IP.
